Assistant Manager - Finance Operations


Will be responsible for reporting of inter/intra company balances for AXA Tech

Key responsibilities:
  • Assist in the production of monthly and quarterly reporting packs
  • Analyse open items and follow up with different AXA Tech entities to close the open items
  • Perform reconciliation report on monthly/quarterly basis
  • Provide financial analysis and explanatory commentary
  • Preparation of various variance analysis reports
  • Produce ad hoc financial information, interpretation, analysis and support to customers, thereby enabling an improved understanding of the information provided
  • Liaise with auditors to assist in external audits
  • Identify and implement improvements to production processes to increase efficiency
  • Identify and help to deliver process, systems and controls improvements relevant to the requirements
  • Provision of accounting input to any agreed projects that arise from the conclusions drawn from the analysis work referred to above
  • Transfer knowledge gained from the analytical review investigation and related control processes to colleagues in the ABS Accounting Team
  • Take full ownership of deliverables to ensure a seamless service is delivered
  • Be responsible for exception handling in the accounting process
Key skills:
  • Qualified Chartered Accountant/Semi Qualified Chartered Accountant/Post Graduate with 7-8 years of experience into Inter Company Accounting and Reporting
  • Working knowledge of People Soft
  • Ability to map processes and understand both the source and destination
  • Strong analytical abilities and numerate/problem-solving skills
  • Interpersonal and presentation skill
  • Ability to plan and organize processing to deadlines
  • Reliable, flexible and innovative within dynamic work environment
  • Good written and communication skills with the ability to develop an effective working relationship with finance colleagues in AXA Tech Entities
  • Good influencing and negotiation skill
  • Ability to get work done from people not within authority
  • Strong interpersonal skills and adept at training and coaching; team player
  • Good Excel skills
