Analyst - MI

Overview:

Will be responsible for gathering requirements from end user for creating BI tools using MSBI technologies such as SSIS

Key responsibilities:
  • Create BI Tools with excellent Data Visualization abilities
  • Responsible for data integration from various sources
  • Display Business Analysis skills and develop tools using Agile Methodologies
  • Interact with the client extensively for requirement gathering and present the different lifecycle developments of the BI tool
  • Use MSBI technologies such as SSIS to build complex data models and cubes for various KPIs, create dashboards displaying KPIs and detailed level MI, create dashboards with various charts and data artistic capabilities, and use business analysis skills such as requirements gathering, mapping business requirements and system/data requirements
  • Delivery of tools within given timelines
  • Testing the quality of developed tools
  • Collate and present financial, business monitoring and decision making information for inclusion in reports and returns
  • Investigate and answer queries raised by or channeled through data services manager
  • Be a leading member of the team dealing in complex queries
Key skills:
  • Any graduate/Post graduate
  • Insurance industry knowledge preferred
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Business Intelligence suite (MSBI – SQL and SSIS)
  • 2-5 years of relevant experience of working in MSBI
  • Knowledge on SSRS and/or SSAS will be helpful
  • Strong knowledge of data modeling, data visualization, cubes, dax expressions, etc.
  • Basic knowledge of data architecture
